Diversity Tickets are fully sponsored (i.e. free) tickets that are awarded after an application process and lottery. In some cases, travel expenses will also be awarded.
Anyone from an underrepresented group in tech is invited to apply. This includes, but is not limited to: women, people of colour, LGBTQ people, disabled people, and people facing economic or social hardships.
We want to see the Vue.js and Web community grow and flourish. This is just a small way to ensure that all people are equally represented within the community!
Anyone that submits their application will be notified if they qualify (We hope that there will be no rejections).
We will close submitions on the 21st of August. We will use any available funds from Diversity sponsors and allocate the tickets based on a lottery system.Apply now!
The Vue Vixens initative is running two half day workshops for free.
Vue Vixens is an initiative created by Jen Looper, a Senior Developer Advocate at Progress, creators of NativeScript, Kendo UI, Open Edge, and more. Vue Vixens' mission is to create workshops to teach Vue.js in a cool and fun way to 'foxy people who identify as women'.
